2007 Rustic detail and attention to minute detail make Rowan Cottage a home away from home-with breakfast the star attraction. Home made everything tasted just right,- preserves, muesli, fruit from the trees and the vase of garden picked flowers in our room. The warmth of your welcome ensures that we wil remember our stay here for a long time to come

You've captured perfectly the ideal " travellers getaway " ! The gardens are very inspiring and the cottage brings calm to the soul, what a lovely blend. My favourite part was waking up to the choir of birdsong. Thank-you so much

Lovely space, great gardens and good food. The attention to detail and the care in all aspects is gently and charmingly apparent. We've enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and look forward to returning some time.

10 Good things about Rowan Cottage

1. Organic fruit, peaches, apples,pears, grapes yumm
2. Luxurious spa, bubbles, relax,birdies Bliss
3. Breakfast in the sun. In bed. In tummy. Corr!
4. Stella the dog. Picking her own apples. Laying around
5. Chickens and chicks. Providing those beautiful eggs as well as crazy critter entertainment
6. We kept finding that the sun always shone on Rowan Cottage, Truly blessed
7. Even the host's friends were nice!
8. The gardens abounding with flowers,foliage, ferns
9. The power shower and of course the rest of the little house: super comfortable bed. warm honey wood, tiny unobtrusive telly (just right for keeping in touch, panoramic windows. super privacy. Everything we could want in a place to stay.
10. Trish and Renee of course, Renee - kind, calm, considerate, radiating wisdom and warmth, Trish -so helpful,warm and so attentive.They are all a host should be and more.
